Job Description
The Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MoFPED) is recruiting qualified Ugandan professionals for multiple positions within the National Development Plan (NDP) IV Programme Secretariat in Kampala. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to Uganda's national development agenda and work on transformative government programmes.
We are seeking dedicated individuals for various roles to support the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the NDP IV. Successful candidates will join a dynamic team driving Uganda's socio-economic transformation.
Key Responsibilities (Vary by Position):
• Support the coordination and implementation of NDP IV programmes and projects.
• Conduct research, data analysis, and prepare progress reports on development indicators.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement with government MDAs, private sector, and development partners.
• Monitor and evaluate programme performance against set targets and deliverables.
• Provide technical support in specialised areas of planning, finance, M&E, or sector-specific expertise.
• Contribute to policy analysis and development within the Secretariat's mandate.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Economics, Statistics, Public Administration, Development Studies, Business Administration, or related discipline).
• Proven work experience in programme management, monitoring & evaluation, or public policy.
• Strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications, especially MS Office and data analysis software.
• Knowledge of Uganda's development planning framework and public sector operations is an added advantage.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to national service.
