Job Description
The Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MFPED) is recruiting qualified Ugandan professionals for multiple vacant positions within the National Development Plan (NDP) IV Programme Secretariat. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to Uganda's national development agenda and work at the heart of economic planning.
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join a dynamic team responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the implementation of NDP IV. Successful candidates will play a critical role in ensuring the programme's objectives align with Uganda's Vision 2040 and deliver tangible results for the country's socio-economic transformation.
Key Responsibilities for Various Positions:
• Support the coordination and implementation of NDP IV programmes and projects.
• Conduct research, data analysis, and prepare periodic progress reports.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and capacity building workshops.
• Monitor and evaluate programme performance against set targets and indicators.
• Provide technical support to line ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs).
• Contribute to policy analysis and development within the planning framework.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Public Administration, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognised institution. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Relevant professional experience in programme management, monitoring & evaluation, or public policy.
• Strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office and data analysis software.
• Demonstrated understanding of Uganda's national development planning framework.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to work in a team.
