Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-line and second-line technical support to staff across all departments
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripherals
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
• Implement and enforce network security protocols and data protection measures
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, procedures, and inventory
• Provide user training and support on various software applications
• Collaborate with the IT team on system upgrades and new implementations

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognised Ugandan or international institution
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on IT support experience in a corporate environment
• Professional certifications in CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or similar are highly advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for user support
• Proven experience with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and network troubleshooting
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices relevant to the Ugandan market
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
