NCBA Bank Uganda Limited, a leading financial institution in Uganda, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Projects Manager to join our dynamic Technology Operations team in Kampala. This is a senior-level position for a professional who excels at managing complex technology projects that drive enterprise-wide transformation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of major enterprise-wide technology projects from initiation to closure.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with NCBA Bank's strategic objectives and technology roadmap.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines, and ensure strict adherence to them.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Technology Operations and other business units to ensure seamless project implementation.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively to minimise impact on timelines and deliverables.
• Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates to senior management, including the Head of Technology Operations & Enterprise Projects.
• Ensure all projects comply with the bank's governance frameworks, policies, and regulatory standards in Uganda.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in project management and contribute to continuous improvement of project management methodologies within the bank.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in project management, specifically managing large-scale enterprise technology projects within the banking or financial services sector in Uganda.
• In-depth knowledge of banking systems, digital transformation projects, and core banking implementations.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating diverse teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software tools and methodologies.
• A results-oriented individual with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
