Job Description
C-Care Uganda, a leading healthcare services provider, is seeking a skilled and analytical Data & Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and improve healthcare delivery across Uganda.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of our data-driven initiatives, working closely with various departments to understand their challenges and translate them into analytical requirements. You will play a key part in enhancing our operational efficiency and patient care strategies through powerful data visualisation and reporting.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to identify key business questions and define analytical needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Transform and model raw data from multiple sources into clean, reliable datasets for analysis.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to hospital performance, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.
- Support strategic planning and performance management by providing timely and accurate reports to department heads and senior management.
- Ensure data integrity and governance standards are maintained across all reporting systems.
- Proactively suggest improvements to data collection and analysis processes.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Data Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or service industry in Uganda.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Hands-on experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI is highly preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
