KCB Bank Uganda, a leading financial institution in the country, is seeking a skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team as a Supervisor for Applications & IT Service Delivery. This is a senior-level position based in Uganda, offering an exciting opportunity to oversee critical technology functions within a dynamic banking environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Supervise the daily operations and delivery of all IT applications and services to ensure high availability and performance.
• Lead a team of IT specialists in managing, maintaining, and supporting core banking applications and other business systems.
• Develop and implement IT service delivery strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with KCB Bank Uganda's objectives.
• Monitor service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure all IT services meet or exceed established standards.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues and implement system enhancements.
• Manage application deployments, upgrades, and patches while minimising business disruption.
• Prepare and analyse performance reports on IT service delivery for management review.
• Ensure compliance with bank security policies, data protection regulations, and industry best practices.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognised university.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in IT service delivery, applications management, or a similar supervisory role, preferably within the banking or financial services sector in Uganda.
• Strong technical knowledge of core banking systems, database management, and enterprise applications.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage IT projects, vendors, and service level agreements.
• Certifications in ITIL, Project Management, or related fields will be a distinct advantage.
