Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and monitor a robust IT security strategy for NSSF Uganda
• Protect computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats, breaches, and attacks
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and risk analysis
• Manage security tools including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems
• Respond to and investigate security incidents, providing timely resolution and reporting
• Ensure compliance with Ugandan data protection regulations and international security standards
• Provide security awareness training to staff across all NSSF branches
• Maintain and update disaster recovery and business continuity plans

Requirements & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognised Ugandan or international institution
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable
• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in IT security, preferably within Uganda's financial or public sector
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, encryption technologies, and security frameworks
• Experience with security systems including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• High level of integrity and commitment to ethical professional standards
