Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff.
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Assist in the administration of payroll and benefits, ensuring timely and correct processing.
• Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labour laws.
• Coordinate staff training and development programmes to enhance workforce skills.
• Handle employee relations matters, providing first-line support and guidance.
• Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review.
• Facilitate performance management processes and assist with appraisals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 2-3 years in a similar HR Officer or Generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR software systems.
• For Ugandan applicants, experience with or understanding of Nigerian labour laws is an advantage but not mandatory.
