Job Description
Nile Breweries Limited, a leading beverage company and proud part of the AB InBev family, is seeking a strategic and analytical Financial Planning & Analytics Manager to join our team in Kampala. This is a senior-level opportunity for a finance professional to drive business performance and strategic decision-making for one of Uganda's most recognised brands.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for the company. You will provide critical insights to senior management to support growth and operational efficiency in the Ugandan market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to analyse business performance and scenario planning.
- Prepare and present detailed management reports, variance analyses, and actionable insights to the leadership team.
- Partner with commercial and operational departments to provide financial guidance and evaluate new business opportunities.
- Drive the analytics agenda, utilising data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimisation and revenue growth.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data and reporting systems.
- Mentor and develop the financial planning and analytics team.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Statistics, or a related field. A professional qualification like ACCA, CPA, or CIMA is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), management accounting, or a similar analytical role.
- Proven experience in a large corporate or FMCG environment, preferably within Uganda or the East African region.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to influence stakeholders.
