Job Summary

As a Financial Advisor at Old Mutual, you will provide expert financial planning and investment advice to our diverse client base. You will play a crucial role in helping individuals and families in Uganda secure their financial futures through tailored solutions and trusted guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' financial situations, goals, and risk tolerance.
• Develop and present personalised financial plans and investment strategies for clients in Uganda.
• Recommend suitable Old Mutual financial products, including savings plans, investments, and insurance solutions.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular reviews and communication.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with company policies and Ugandan regulations.
• Stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and new financial products relevant to the Ugandan market.
• Educate clients on financial literacy and investment principles.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in financial advisory, banking, or a related financial services role in Uganda.
• Professional certification in financial planning (such as CFP) is a significant advantage.
• Strong understanding of the Ugandan financial market and regulatory environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Valid practising certificate from the relevant Ugandan authorities is preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting targets and delivering excellent customer service.
