Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with Ugandan accounting standards.
• Manage general ledger accounts, reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring efficient cash flow management.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal financial controls and company policies.
• Liaise with external auditors and support the annual audit process.
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance department.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Full professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
• Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in a similar financial accounting role, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, or a related industry in Uganda.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Ugandan tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
