Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, and monitor the organisation's annual budgets and forecasts.
• Generate accurate and timely financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Analyse financial data and variances to provide insights for decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and Ugandan accounting standards.
• Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with department heads to manage their budgets effectively.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• High proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of Ugandan financial regulations and tax laws.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
