Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing critical financial accounting functions. Key duties include:
• Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
• Ensuring compliance with Ugandan accounting standards, tax laws (URA), and company policies.
• Conducting bank reconciliations and managing cash flow forecasts.
• Supporting budget preparation and financial planning activities.
• Assisting with internal and external audit processes.
• Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts.
• Contributing to the development and improvement of financial systems and controls.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be considered for this Financial Accountant position in Kampala, you should possess:
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Full professional accounting qualification (CPA or ACCA).
• Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in financial accounting, preferably within manufacturing, FMCG, or a related industry in Uganda.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of Ugandan financial regulations and IFRS.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
