This senior leadership role is critical for overseeing the financial and operational integrity of our life-changing projects, helping the most vulnerable children overcome poverty and experience fullness of life.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide strategic leadership for all financial, operational, and administrative aspects of the project.
• Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring strict compliance with USAID regulations and World Vision policies.
• Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and audit processes to ensure accuracy and transparency.
• Manage procurement, logistics, and human resources functions, optimising efficiency and effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls and risk management systems.
• Lead, mentor, and build the capacity of finance and operations staff, promoting a culture of accountability.
• Collaborate with the Chief of Party and technical team to align financial planning with programmatic goals.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in financial management and operations for large-scale, donor-funded projects, preferably with USAID.
• Strong knowledge of USAID rules and regulations, including financial reporting and compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial analysis, procurement, and human resources management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English is required.
