About the Role

As a Finance Analyst for the Uganda market, you will be at the heart of financial operations, providing critical insights that drive business decisions. You will work closely with various teams to ensure accurate reporting, robust financial planning, and strict regulatory compliance within the Ugandan context.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analysis for management.
• Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
• Analyse market and brand performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Ensure full compliance with Ugandan financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models in Excel to support strategic initiatives.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support key business decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial efficiency and accountability.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field from a recognised university.
• Full professional qualification such as CPA (U) or ACCA is mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial modelling.
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan tax regulations, accounting standards, and compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
