As a Field Marketing Intern for our Electric Vehicle division, you will be at the forefront of our grassroots marketing efforts. You will engage directly with potential customers in communities, markets, and boda-boda stages, helping to educate the public about the benefits of electric motorcycles and vehicles. This role is perfect for university students, recent graduates, or anyone looking to build a career in marketing, sales, or the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Execute on-ground marketing activities and campaigns for Watu's electric vehicle products in assigned territories (Kampala, Luwero, Jinja, or Mukono).
• Engage with boda-boda riders, drivers, and the general public to generate leads and create awareness about EV benefits.
• Distribute marketing materials and collect customer feedback and data for market analysis.
• Assist in organising and managing promotional events, demos, and community activations.
• Support the marketing team with daily field reports and competitor activity insights.
• Build and maintain positive relationships within local communities to enhance brand visibility.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

• A resident of or willingness to work in Kampala, Luwero, Jinja, or Mukono.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and relevant local languages (e.g., Luganda).
• Self-motivated, energetic, and comfortable with fieldwork and moving around the community.
• Basic knowledge of or keen interest in technology, motorcycles, or sustainable energy is an advantage.
• Ability to use a smartphone for reporting and communication.
