External HR Consultant Job in Uganda - USDC Organisation

USDC Organisation is seeking an experienced External Human Resource Technical Person/Team to join our dynamic team in Uganda. This is an exciting contract opportunity for HR professionals looking to make a significant impact in the development sector.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational goals
• Provide technical expertise in recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
• Design and deliver staff training and development programmes
• Manage performance management systems and employee relations
• Ensure compliance with Ugandan labour laws and regulations
• Develop and review HR policies and procedures
• Provide guidance on compensation and benefits structures
• Support organisational development and change management

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in Uganda
• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., HRMAU)
• Thorough knowledge of Ugandan employment laws and regulations
• Experience working with international development organisations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
