Enterprise Projects Manager Job at NCBA Bank Uganda - Kampala

NCBA Bank Uganda Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Enterprise Projects Manager to join our Technology division in Kampala. This is a senior leadership role within our Operations & Enterprise Projects department, offering a unique opportunity to drive strategic initiatives and digital transformation at one of Uganda's leading financial institutions.

As the Manager for Enterprise Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of key technology and business projects that enhance our operational efficiency and customer experience. You will play a pivotal role in aligning project outcomes with NCBA Bank's strategic objectives in the Ugandan market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end management of enterprise-level projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Technology, Operations, and other business units.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the projects team.
• Ensure compliance with NCBA Bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in Uganda.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in project management, preferably within the banking or financial services sector in Uganda or East Africa.
• Strong understanding of banking operations, technology systems, and digital financial services.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
