Are you an experienced banking professional with strong leadership skills seeking a senior management role in Western Uganda? Equity Group Holdings, a leading financial services provider, is hiring a Branch Manager for its Mbarara branch. This is a pivotal role where you will drive business growth, ensure operational excellence, and lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional financial services to our customers in the region.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Oversee all daily operations of the Mbarara branch, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, increase deposits, and expand the loan portfolio.
• Lead, mentor, and manage branch staff to achieve performance targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Ensure strict adherence to all Bank of Uganda regulations and internal policies.
• Analyse financial reports, manage the branch budget, and control operational costs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, businesses, and the local community in Mbarara.
• Resolve complex customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field from a recognised university.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in the banking sector in Uganda.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in a branch management or senior supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of Ugandan banking laws, regulations, and financial products.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong financial analysis, business development, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Commitment to integrity, customer focus, and operational excellence.
