Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, document, and dispense drugs and medical supplies to hospital units and patients
• Provide accurate and empathetic counselling to patients regarding medication usage
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all dispensed medications
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital protocols
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimise patient treatment plans
• Manage inventory of pharmaceutical supplies in your designated area
• Participate in continuous professional development and training programmes

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Diploma in Pharmacy or related field from a recognised institution
• Valid practicing license from the Uganda Pharmacy Board
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Empathetic approach to patient care
• Knowledge of Ugandan pharmaceutical regulations
• Computer literacy for documentation purposes
