Job Summary
As a Dental Nurse at All C-Care IMC Facilities, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental surgeons and ensuring exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of clinical assistance, infection control, and patient comfort in our modern dental facility.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist dental surgeons during various clinical procedures and treatments
- Prepare and organise dental treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilisation standards
- Provide chair-side assistance during dental surgeries and routine procedures
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Maintain dental equipment and ensure proper functioning
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and medications
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Provide compassionate patient care and address patient concerns
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma in Dental Nursing from a recognised institution in Uganda
- Valid practicing license from the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in dental nursing practice
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Excellent understanding of infection control protocols
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- Computer literacy for maintaining patient records
