Job Description

Watu Credit, a leading asset financing company in East Africa, is seeking a dedicated Customer Support Officer to join their NTSA Cabinet team in Nairobi, Kenya. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional to build a career with a fast-growing financial services provider.

About the Role:
As a Customer Support Officer specialising in NTSA (National Transport and Safety Authority) Cabinet services, you will be the primary point of contact for clients regarding vehicle registration, logbook processing, and related transport compliance matters. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery for our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main liaison for all NTSA Cabinet-related customer inquiries and transactions.
  • Process and follow up on vehicle registration, transfer, and logbook applications.
  • Provide clear and accurate information to customers regarding NTSA requirements, procedures, and timelines.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions in the system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and process improvement.
  • Educate customers on Watu's financing products and services related to vehicle acquisition.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in financial services, logistics, or the automotive industry.
  • Prior experience with NTSA processes and procedures is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Swahili.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a patient, customer-centric attitude.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
