Job Description

Zembo, a leading company in Uganda, is hiring a dedicated Customer Support Specialist to join our team in Jinja. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional to build a rewarding career with a dynamic organisation.

About the Role:
As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction, building strong relationships, and representing the Zembo brand with professionalism and care. This full-time position is based at our Jinja office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Provide accurate and helpful information about Zembo's products and services.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date customer records in our system.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to improve customer support processes.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Strive to achieve high customer satisfaction and positive feedback.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A Diploma in any relevant field from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven customer service experience, preferably in Uganda.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Luganda is a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a patient, empathetic attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good computer literacy and familiarity with basic office software.
