Job Description

Airtel Uganda, a leading telecommunications company in Uganda, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in Entebbe. Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming customer inquiries and complaints via phone, email, and live chat.
  • Provide accurate and efficient solutions to customer issues related to Airtel products and services.
  • Process service requests, account updates, and billing clarifications.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate specialised teams.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions in the system.
  • Strive to achieve first-contact resolution and high customer satisfaction scores.
  • Actively promote Airtel Uganda's latest offers, data bundles, and voice plans to customers.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in any field from a recognised institution.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the telecom or service industry in Uganda.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of local languages is a strong advantage.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a patient, empathetic attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced shift environment.
