Job Description

MTN Uganda, a leading telecommunications company, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Jinja. This is an exciting opportunity to build a career with Uganda's most innovative network provider, serving customers in the Eastern region.

About the Role:
As a Customer Service Representative at MTN Uganda, you will be the frontline ambassador, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and help customers get the most value from MTN's products and services, including mobile data, voice, MoMo, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professionally handle customer inquiries and complaints via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Provide accurate information about MTN Uganda's products, services, tariffs, and promotions.
  • Efficiently resolve customer issues related to billing, network services, and account management.
  • Process service requests and guide customers on using MTN digital platforms.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Contribute to achieving team targets for customer satisfaction and service quality.
  • Stay updated on new MTN products, services, and processes.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A Diploma in any field from a recognised institution.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of local languages (e.g., Lusoga) is a strong advantage.
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred, but fresh graduates with the right attitude are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a patient, empathetic attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with customer service software.
