Job Description

Watu, a leading asset financing company across Africa, is seeking a dedicated Customer Success Manager to join our team in Freetown, Sierra Leone. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving customer satisfaction and business growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

About the Role:
As a Customer Success Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring they achieve maximum value from our products and services. You will build strong relationships, understand customer needs, and proactively work to ensure their success and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main liaison between Watu and assigned customers, building trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Onboard new customers and guide them through product adoption and best practices.
  • Proactively monitor customer health, identify risks, and develop success plans to drive engagement and renewal.
  • Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams (Product, Sales, Marketing) to help improve our offerings.
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently and advocate for their needs within the company.
  • Track key account metrics and prepare reports on customer status and portfolio health.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Customer Success, Account Management, or related client-facing role.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships at all levels.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking customer metrics and health scores.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about customer advocacy.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the fintech, leasing, or financial services sector is a strong advantage.
