Job Description
Watu, a leading asset financing company expanding across Africa, is seeking a dedicated Customer Success Manager to join their team in Sierra Leone. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused professional to build relationships and drive client satisfaction in the growing mobility and asset financing sector.
As a Customer Success Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued clients, ensuring they achieve maximum value from our products and services. You will play a crucial role in reducing churn, increasing customer loyalty, and contributing directly to the company's growth in the Sierra Leonean market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients.
- Onboard new customers and ensure they understand how to use our financing products effectively.
- Proactively check in with clients to identify their needs, address concerns, and prevent issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Technical Support) to resolve customer queries promptly.
- Gather customer feedback and advocate for their needs within the company to improve our services.
- Monitor customer health metrics and develop strategies to improve retention and satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and upsell additional services where appropriate.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a customer success, account management, or client relations role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to analyse data and use CRM software (like Salesforce) is an added advantage.
- Understanding of the asset financing, mobility, or fintech sector is highly desirable.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Sierra Leone.
