About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at Equity Bank Uganda, you will be the face of the bank, providing exceptional service to our valued customers. You will play a crucial role in building strong relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the growth of our Gulu operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally and efficiently at the banking hall.
- Process various customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and account updates with accuracy.
- Actively promote and cross-sell Equity Bank Uganda's products and services, such as savings accounts, loans, and mobile banking solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of bank products, services, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.
- Ensure excellent customer experience by adhering to service standards and turnaround times.
- Assist customers with digital banking platforms like Equitel and Eazzy Banking.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve branch targets and operational excellence.

Requirements & Qualifications
- A minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or a related field from a recognised institution.
- At least 2 years of proven customer service experience, preferably within the banking or financial services sector in Uganda.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Luo or other local languages is a strong advantage.
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office and banking software.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
- Integrity, professionalism, and a smart appearance.
