As a Credit Analyst at Equity Bank Uganda, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our credit quality standards while supporting business growth. You will be responsible for analysing credit applications, assessing risk factors, and ensuring sound lending decisions that align with Uganda's financial market requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of credit applications and financial statements
• Assess credit risk and prepare detailed credit reports
• Monitor and manage existing loan portfolios
• Evaluate borrower creditworthiness using Ugandan market standards
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide recommendations for credit decisions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Uganda's credit market trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 4 years of credit analysis experience in Uganda's banking sector
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Excellent knowledge of Ugandan credit markets and regulations
• Proficiency in financial analysis software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and report writing skills
