Community Linkages Assistant Jobs in Jinja & Mbale - TASO Uganda

TASO Uganda is seeking two dedicated Community Linkages Assistants to join our team at the Jinja and Mbale Centers of Excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in community health while building your career with Uganda's leading HIV/AIDS organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain effective linkages between TASO centres and community health programmes
• Facilitate community outreach activities and health education sessions
• Support client follow-up and referral systems within the community
• Collaborate with local leaders and community-based organisations
• Collect and report data on community health interventions
• Participate in community mobilisation and sensitisation programmes

Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Work, Social Sciences, Community Development or related field
• Minimum 1 year experience in community health work or related field
• Strong understanding of HIV/AIDS prevention and care programmes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to speak local languages in Jinja or Mbale regions
• Willingness to work in both facility and community settings
