Living Goods, a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to improving community health in Africa, is seeking a dedicated Community Health Performance Management Assistant to join our team in Kadiogo, Burkina Faso. This is a vital role for a professional passionate about public health, data management, and making a tangible impact on community well-being.
About the Role:
As a Community Health Performance Management Assistant, you will provide crucial technical support to our community health programmes. You will work closely with field teams to monitor performance, analyse health data, and help implement strategies that enhance the quality and reach of our life-saving services. This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mind and a commitment to improving health outcomes at the grassroots level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the collection, validation, and analysis of community health performance data.
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating programme indicators to track progress against set targets.
- Help prepare regular performance reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders.
- Provide technical backstopping to field staff on data management tools and performance tracking systems.
- Contribute to identifying performance gaps and recommending corrective actions.
- Participate in capacity-building activities for community health workers.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in data management, M&E, or community health programming. Experience in the West African context is an advantage.
- Strong skills in data analysis using software like Excel, KOBO, or similar tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in French is essential; knowledge of local languages in Burkina Faso is beneficial.
