World Vision International is seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Protection Coordinator to lead vital initiatives in Northern Uganda. Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Coordinate and implement comprehensive child protection programmes across Northern Uganda.
• Lead case management systems for vulnerable children, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
• Mobilise and build the capacity of communities, local partners, and staff on child protection standards and practices.
• Develop and conduct training sessions for staff, partners, and community volunteers.
• Advocate for child rights and protection policies at local and district levels.
• Prepare detailed reports, monitor programme impact, and ensure compliance with donor and organisational guidelines.
• Collaborate with government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to strengthen child protection networks.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in child protection programming, preferably within Uganda or similar contexts.
• Demonstrated experience working in post-conflict or fragile settings, with an understanding of the Northern Uganda context.
• Strong skills in training, facilitation, and community mobilisation.
• Excellent reporting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to speak the local language (Acholi/Luo) is a strong asset.
• Commitment to World Vision's Christian values and ethos.
