Compassion International, a leading Christian child development organisation, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Partnership Facilitator II to join our team in Mbarara, Uganda. About the Role

As the primary liaison, you will ensure the effective implementation of Compassion's holistic child sponsorship programme. You will work closely with local church partners to foster development, provide support, and ensure programme integrity. This role is perfect for someone passionate about community transformation, church ministry, and sustainable development in Uganda.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Serve as the main point of contact and support for assigned local church partners in the Mbarara region.
• Coach and mentor church partner staff on programme implementation, child development, and best practices.
• Monitor and evaluate programme activities to ensure alignment with Compassion's standards and outcomes.
• Facilitate training workshops for church partners on topics like child protection, project management, and spiritual development.
• Ensure all programme activities comply with Compassion's policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
• Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with church leaders and community stakeholders.
• Collect and analyse data to assess programme impact and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Theology, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in community development, NGO work, or church ministry.
• Excellent interpersonal and relational skills, with a heart for serving local churches.
• Strong training, facilitation, and coaching abilities.
• Fluency in English and relevant local languages spoken in the Mbarara region is essential.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email).
• A committed Christian, able to work respectfully within a Christian framework.
