Old Mutual Uganda, a leading financial services group, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Kampala. This is a senior-level role where you will be instrumental in driving our growth strategy and expanding our market presence across Uganda.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments within the Ugandan context.
• Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with potential clients, key stakeholders, and industry partners.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate closely with internal marketing, sales, and product teams to align strategies and achieve collective business objectives.
• Conduct thorough market analysis to understand local trends, competitor activity, and customer needs in Uganda.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field from a recognised institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar strategic role.
• Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the Ugandan business landscape and financial services sector is a significant advantage.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
