Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and execute innovative, integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand growth and market share for Diageo's portfolio in Uganda.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify consumer trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities within the Ugandan context.
• Plan and manage end-to-end marketing campaigns, including budget allocation, creative development, and media planning.
• Lead digital marketing initiatives, including social media management, content creation, email marketing, and online advertising to engage our Ugandan audience.
• Collaborate with sales, trade marketing, and agency partners to ensure flawless campaign execution across all channels.
• Monitor, measure, and analyse campaign performance using key metrics, providing reports and insights to optimise future strategies.
• Ensure all marketing activities adhere to Diageo's global marketing standards and local compliance regulations in Uganda.

What We're Looking For (Requirements)

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field from a recognised institution.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven marketing experience, preferably within the FMCG, beverages, or consumer goods sector in Uganda or East Africa.
• Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media analytics, Google Ads, email marketing software).
• Excellent creativity, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A proactive, results-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
