Brand and Communications Manager Job in Kampala at Hima Cement Limited

Hima Cement Limited, a leading force in Uganda's construction materials industry, is seeking a dynamic and strategic Brand and Communications Manager to join our ambitious team in Kampala. This is a senior-level opportunity for a marketing and communications professional to shape our brand narrative and drive engagement across Uganda.

As our Brand and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies, managing internal and external communications, and enhancing Hima Cement's reputation as an employer of choice and industry leader. You will play a pivotal role in telling our story of quality, innovation, and commitment to building Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an integrated brand and communications strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Manage all corporate communications, including media relations, public affairs, and crisis communication.
• Oversee the creation of compelling content for digital platforms, traditional media, and internal channels.
• Lead employer branding initiatives to attract and retain top talent in Uganda.
• Manage the brand's visual identity and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government, and community partners.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in brand management, corporate communications, or public relations, preferably in a large corporate or FMCG environment.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong understanding of the Ugandan media landscape and cultural context.
• Proven track record in developing successful communication campaigns.
• Strategic thinker with excellent project management and leadership abilities.
