Hima Cement Limited, a leading building solutions company in Uganda, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand and Communications Manager to join our team in Kampala. This is a senior-level opportunity for a strategic thinker to shape and protect our corporate reputation and drive brand growth across Uganda and the wider region.

As our Brand and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance Hima Cement's market position. You will lead all brand management, public relations, media engagement, and internal communications initiatives, ensuring our messaging is consistent, powerful, and aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an integrated brand and communications strategy for Hima Cement.
• Manage the company's public image, media relations, and crisis communications.
• Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, digital content, and press materials.
• Lead internal communications to engage and align employees with the company's vision.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends to advise senior management.
• Manage the brand's visual identity and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
• Plan and manage events, sponsorships, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) communications.

Requirements for the Role:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in brand management, corporate communications, or public relations, preferably in the manufacturing, FMCG, or construction sector in Uganda.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong network with Ugandan media houses and a proven track record in media relations.
• Experience in digital marketing and social media strategy.
• Strategic, creative, and able to work effectively under pressure.
