NCBA Bank Uganda Limited, a leading financial institution in Uganda, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Branch Manager to lead our retail banking operations in Kampala. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide overall leadership, direction, and management of the branch to achieve set financial and operational targets.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to grow the branch's deposit base, loan portfolio, and overall profitability.
• Ensure the delivery of superior customer service and maintain strong relationships with key corporate and retail clients.
• Oversee all branch operations, ensuring strict compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements set by the Bank of Uganda.
• Lead, motivate, train, and develop branch staff to build a cohesive and high-performing team.
• Manage the branch's budget, control costs, and mitigate operational risks.
• Drive the sales and marketing of the bank's products and services, including loans, savings accounts, and digital banking solutions.
• Represent NCBA Bank in the local community and build the bank's brand presence in Kampala.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or a related field from a recognised university.
• At least 7-10 years of progressive experience in the banking sector, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a branch management or similar leadership role within retail banking.
• Proven track record in business development, sales management, and achieving financial targets.
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan banking regulations, credit risk management, and operational procedures.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Customer-centric mindset with a passion for service excellence.
