Back Office Analyst Job at Watu Credit Uganda - Data Analysis Position

Watu Credit Uganda, a leading asset financing company specialising in motorcycle and boda boda financing, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Back Office Analyst to join our growing team. This role is crucial for supporting our operations in Uganda by ensuring data accuracy, processing efficiency, and seamless backend support for our field teams and customers.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
• Analyse and process customer application data for motorcycle and asset financing.
• Maintain accurate records and databases for all loan and customer transactions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management review.
• Verify documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and Ugandan financial regulations.
• Coordinate with field agents and sales teams to resolve data discrepancies.
• Support the reconciliation of accounts and assist with audit preparations.
• Identify process improvements to enhance back-office efficiency and data integrity.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a back-office, data analysis, or administrative role, preferably in finance, microfinance, or logistics.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management software.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages (e.g., Luganda) is an added advantage.
