Job Description

NCBA Bank Uganda Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Relationship Manager for Personal Banking to join our Retail Banking team in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career with one of Uganda's leading financial institutions, where you will play a key role in driving branch business and delivering exceptional service to our personal banking clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of personal banking customers, understanding their financial needs and goals.
  • Actively cross-sell the bank's products and services, including savings accounts, current accounts, loans, and credit facilities.
  • Provide excellent customer service, building strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Assist in achieving the branch's sales targets and business growth objectives for the retail segment.
  • Process customer applications for various banking products efficiently and accurately.
  • Follow up on customer queries and ensure timely resolution of any issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NCBA Bank's personal banking offerings and market trends.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, or a related field from a recognised university.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in retail banking, sales, or customer relationship management within the Ugandan financial sector.
  • Strong sales acumen and a passion for achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of banking products, procedures, and regulatory guidelines in Uganda.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A high level of integrity, professionalism, and customer focus.
