Assistant Brand Manager Job at Roofings Limited - Kampala, Uganda

Roofings Limited, Uganda's leading manufacturer of steel and plastic building products, is seeking a dynamic and creative Assistant Brand Manager to join our marketing team in Kampala. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will play a key role in building and maintaining our market-leading brand presence across Uganda and the East African region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and executing innovative brand marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Support the management of all brand communication channels, including digital, social media, and traditional media.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the Ugandan construction and building materials sector.
• Collaborate with the sales and production teams to ensure brand consistency and message alignment.
• Help plan and coordinate promotional events, trade shows, and product launches.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance and brand health metrics.
• Assist in managing the brand's advertising and promotional budget.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field from a recognised Ugandan or international university.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in marketing, brand management, or a related role, preferably within the FMCG, manufacturing, or construction sectors in Uganda.
• Strong understanding of the Ugandan consumer market and media landscape.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital marketing tools.
• A valid driver's licence is an added advantage.
