Job Description

The Hunger Project Uganda, a leading non-governmental organisation dedicated to sustainable development and ending hunger, is seeking passionate professionals to join their team. We are recruiting for multiple positions across various departments to support our mission of empowering communities in Uganda.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful development work while growing your career in the NGO sector. Successful candidates will work with dedicated teams implementing innovative programmes that create lasting change in Ugandan communities.

Key Responsibilities (Varies by Position):
• Design, implement, and monitor community development programmes
• Facilitate training and capacity-building workshops for local partners
• Manage project budgets and ensure proper resource utilisation
• Prepare detailed reports on programme activities and outcomes
• Collaborate with government agencies and community leaders
• Conduct field research and data collection for programme improvement
• Support fundraising and donor relationship activities

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Development Studies, Social Sciences, Agriculture, etc.)
• Minimum 2 years experience in NGO or community development work
• Strong understanding of Uganda's development context
• Excellent communication skills in English (local languages a plus)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management tools
• Willingness to travel to rural communities
• Valid motorcycle riding permit preferred for field positions
