Job Description

Living Goods, a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to improving community health in Africa, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager Consultant for a consultancy role based in Nairobi, Kenya. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive impactful health programmes across multiple countries, including supporting community health initiatives in Burkina Faso.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership and programme management for community health performance initiatives.
  • Coordinate and supervise regional community health programmes and supervisors.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the effectiveness of community health workers (CHWs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure programme alignment and achievement of health targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate programme performance, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Support capacity building for health teams in operational areas.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Health, International Development, Programme Management, or a related field.
  • Proven senior-level experience in technical programme management within the public health or NGO sector.
  • Strong experience managing community health programmes, preferably in Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Excellent leadership, coordination, and supervisory skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is a significant advantage for work in Burkina Faso.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, remote team environment.
