Job Description

C-Care Uganda, a leading private healthcare provider, is seeking qualified and dedicated Medical Officers to join our dynamic teams at the International Hospital Kampala (IHK) and our International Medical Centres (IMCs). Job Summary:
As a Medical Officer with C-Care Uganda, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients across our IHK and IMC facilities. You will work under the supervision of the Director of Medical Services to ensure efficient, effective, and profitable medical service delivery. This role is perfect for a medical professional seeking to make a significant impact in patient outcomes within a supportive and well-resourced environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, examinations, and diagnoses.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients in wards, clinics, and units.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including consultants, nurses, and specialists.
• Adhere to all clinical protocols, standards, and safety guidelines.
• Participate in continuous medical education and training programmes.
• Contribute to the efficiency and profitability of the medical service.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent from a recognised institution.
• Full registration with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC) with a valid annual practising licence.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of post-internship clinical experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical acumen and excellent patient management skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning.
