Exciting Supply Chain Manager Opportunity at Diageo Uganda

Diageo, a global leader in premium drinks, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Kampala, Uganda. This is a senior leadership role where you will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, driving efficiency and excellence across our Uganda market.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead and manage the complete supply chain function, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain processes for maximum cost efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure all operations meet Diageo's world-class quality and safety standards.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
• Analyse supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team in Uganda.
• Ensure compliance with all local Ugandan regulations and Diageo's global policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in supply chain management, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or a related industry in Uganda or East Africa.
• Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
• Proven track record of improving supply chain efficiency and reducing costs.
