Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead and manage all aspects of supply chain planning, logistics, and distribution operations in Uganda.
• Optimise inventory levels and implement efficient warehouse management systems to ensure product availability.
• Coordinate closely with local production facilities and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations.
• Design and implement cost optimisation initiatives across the supply chain to drive profitability.
• Ensure strict compliance with all quality control, health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering talent and growth.
• Utilise ERP systems, preferably SAP, to enhance planning accuracy and operational visibility.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing industry in Uganda.
• Proven expertise in using ERP systems; hands-on experience with SAP is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in managing and developing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
