Diageo, a global leader in beverage alcohol, is seeking a skilled and experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Jinja, Uganda. About the Role:

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our Jinja operations, responsible for coordinating key supply chain functions. You will work closely with various teams to optimise our logistics, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with Ugandan regulations. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory management, and logistics planning.
• Manage relationships with local suppliers, transporters, and customs agents to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
• Utilise SAP or similar ERP systems to track inventory levels, process orders, and generate supply chain reports.
• Ensure strict compliance with Ugandan logistics, customs, and trade regulations.
• Analyse supply chain data to identify areas for improvement in cost, efficiency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with the finance, production, and sales teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation for all supply chain processes.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement, preferably within FMCG, manufacturing, or a related sector in Uganda.
• In-depth knowledge of Ugandan logistics networks, customs clearance procedures, and port operations.
• High proficiency in using SAP or other major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse teams.
