Security Assistant Job in Kampala at Pearl Bank Uganda

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the bank premises, ensuring only authorised personnel and visitors enter.
• Conduct regular patrols of the banking hall, offices, and perimeter to deter and detect security breaches.
• Operate and monitor CCTV surveillance systems and other security equipment.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients and staff with security-related inquiries.
• Prepare and submit daily security reports and incident logs.
• Ensure compliance with the bank's security policies and procedures at all times.
• Assist in crowd control during peak banking hours and special events.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent; additional security training is a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a security role, preferably in a corporate, banking, or similar environment.
• Valid certificate of good conduct from the Uganda Police Force.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong observational skills and high level of integrity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of fire safety and first aid procedures.
