ITM Tanzania Limited is seeking three (3) dynamic and self-motivated Rural Marketers to join our growing team in Uganda. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about grassroots marketing, community engagement, and driving brand presence in Uganda's vibrant rural and peri-urban markets. Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and execute effective marketing and sales strategies for assigned rural territories in the Central Region and beyond.
• Conduct market research to understand consumer behaviour, identify new opportunities, and gather competitor intelligence in rural Uganda.
• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with local retailers, distributors, and community leaders.
• Organise and manage product demonstrations, promotional events, and activations in rural trading centres and communities.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for the company's product portfolio.
• Prepare and submit regular activity reports, sales data, and market feedback to the Area Sales Manager.
• Educate retailers and consumers on product features, benefits, and proper usage.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A-level leavers with proven sales experience may be considered.
• At least 1-2 years of practical experience in field sales, marketing, or brand promotion, preferably in FMCG, Agri-inputs, or similar sectors in Uganda.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Luganda. Knowledge of other local languages is a strong advantage.
• Must possess a valid riding permit (Class A) and be willing to travel extensively within rural areas.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a high degree of integrity.
• Good knowledge of the Central Region's rural landscape and distribution networks.
