KCB Bank Uganda, a leading financial institution in the country, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Relationship Manager for Liabilities to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a banking professional to build and manage client portfolios while driving deposit growth for the bank.

As a Relationship Manager Liabilities, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with corporate and institutional clients across Uganda. You will be responsible for growing the bank's deposit base and ensuring excellent customer service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to grow liabilities (deposits) from corporate and institutional clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in Uganda
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities in the banking sector
• Prepare and present proposals for liability products to corporate clients
• Monitor client portfolios and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations
• Collaborate with other bank departments to provide comprehensive banking solutions
• Achieve set targets for deposit growth and customer acquisition
• Provide regular reports on portfolio performance and market trends

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or related field from a recognised Ugandan or international university
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in banking, preferably in corporate banking or relationship management
• Strong understanding of Uganda's banking regulations and financial market
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship management
• Professional banking qualifications will be an added advantage
